
If you are unfamiliar with Defender, this will help with that. Make sure that Defender is upto date with respect to Definitions etc, and then run a FULL Sysyem Scan. I also understand that Malwarebytes is VERY complimentary with it. Microsoft Defender has come a LONG way over the past few years and is VERY good. ĪS far as a replacement Antivirus is concerned, this is obviously a matter of personal choice. I would assume that Kaspersky has an uninstall option, which if it does, would probably be best performed Offline. How is the best way to keep protection active during replacement?Ĭan I activate the replacement anti virus before shutting down KIS and uninstalling it?


I currently pay for KIS, so obviously have no problem paying for its replacement. I'm looking for a protection system on a par with KIS. After the Bolshevik invasion of Ukraine I intend to ditch my Kaspersky anti virus and replace it.
